Local Silver Mint New Hampshire: Silver Dave’s Mission to Produce Billions of SilverBitz

Local Silver Mint was founded by Silver Dave in New Hampshire in 2019 with one clear mission: to produce Billions of SilverBitz. That ambitious goal, however, began years earlier.

After completing his tour in Afghanistan as an Army Special Forces Green Beret, Silver Dave dedicated himself to a new mission — putting tangible silver assets back into the hands of the American people.

During his service in the U.S. Army, Silver Dave saw the dangers of fiat currency firsthand. He now calls central bank fiat — and soon digital currencies — “The Biggest Problem in the World.” His post-military goal was simple: create millions, then billions, of small physical silver pieces for barter and trade that hold real value no matter the state of the financial system or internet access.

From Suns of Liberty Mint to Precious Metals Expertise

In 2012, Silver Dave founded Suns of Liberty Mint. The company produced over one million pieces of silver and pioneered the innovative “silver card.” After selling the business, he focused on research and development to advance his long-term vision.

In 2016, he joined a major silver refinery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he gained extensive hands-on expertise in precious metals production. Once his training was complete, Silver Dave returned to his home state of New Hampshire and launched Local Silver Mint with a laser-focused objective: Produce Billions of SilverBitz.

Partnership Forms in 2025

In 2025, serendipity aligned with the mission when Silver Dave met Albert, a highly experienced coin press operator who had recently retired from the U.S. Mint and Las Vegas token production lines.

When Albert learned that Silver Dave had acquired and was restoring four historic U.S. Mint coin presses, he enthusiastically came out of retirement to join the team in New Hampshire.

State-of-the-Art Factory Now Operational (Summer 2026)

As of summer 2026, Local Silver Mint’s new factory is fully operational. Equipped with the four restored U.S. Mint coin presses, expert operator Albert, and top-of-the-line precious metals machinery, the facility is now producing the newly designed SilverBitz.

These double-sided, coined, and reeded SilverBitz represent a major milestone in Silver Dave’s vision of creating high-quality, recognizable silver for everyday trade and long-term wealth preservation.
